Quiz Night Thursday 06th April 2006, 7.00 p.m. at The Falkirk Stadium

The latest BairnsTrust Social Night takes the form of a Quiz, Raffle and Auction Night to raise funds for the Trust.

The above date in the warm-up area of the Stadium has now been agreed.

Numbers are to be restricted to about 70, consisting of 17 teams x £10.00 per team.

There has been a request to the club to supply a few current players who will be available "for hire" at £10.00 each to make your team consist of 5 members.

Also confirmed to attend is Falkirk's Player of the Millennium Kevin McAllister.

A prize fund of £100 is available to the winning team!

The format will be hosted by River FM DJ, Falkirk FC's Matchday Stadium Announcer and fellow BairnsTrust member; Dave McIntosh.

The questions will be wide ranging and cover numerous topics but in a fairly structured manner of 10 rounds of 10 questions. Questions will relate to general football, with the odd Falkirk FC poser! This is to allow the asking of as many questions as possible within the time available, with all age groups and standard of quiz participant being accommodated.

Trust Corporate Sponsor Drew Norloch Ltd will provide a pay bottle bar.

If you are able to donate prizes for a usual raffle that would be very much appreciated. There will also be an auction of numerous football related products. Subsequently, we are now accepting pre-event bids, by any of the contact methods below for:

Signed 2005/06 Falkirk FC Shirt

2004/05 Rangers FC Shirt signed by 2005/06 squad players

Signed 2004/05 Aberdeen FC Ball

Signed 2004/05 Inverness CT FC Shirt

Bundles of Falkirk FC Matchday Programmes

and possibly a Signed 2005/06 East Stirlingshire FC Shirt from the ShireTrust who will be competing in the quiz.

All of the above can be framed or glass boxed if desired for an additional charge.

Those who would like to attend are asked to please email BairnsTrustWS@aol.com on a first come first served basis and we will collate the numbers.

Individuals can be catered for by being placed within other incomplete teams.

Please note that "professional quiz teams" will not be permitted.
