Westfield Update :: 06 March 2004

The Main Stand at Westfield is now well on its way to completion and a couple of pictures taken yesterday (5th March) show an unexpected addition to the wording incorporated in the seating.
Unfortunately it doesn't indicate a 'JJB' type investment in the Stadium nor is it permanent.
The 'wording' is apparently made up of white plastic bags over the navy seats, placed there by Mowlem for some free advertising.
Gave a few fans a bit of a fright though and it would have been nice to have had this on the club site to prevent any misinterpretation!

We understand that work is now about to commence on the laying of the undersoil heating with the grass due to be sown early April. Apparently grass seed is preferable to turf as it roots better.
