What made you sign for Falkirk?
I supported the team as a boy and when the chance came along I jumped at it. George Millar was the manager at the time.
Who was the best player you ever played with at Falkirk and why?
Gary Gillespie, because of what he has achieved when he played. Playing for Coventry, Liverpool, Celtic, and Scotland.
Who was the best player you ever played against at Falkirk and why?
Charlie Nicholas, I played against Charlie when he was at the start of his career with Celtic. He wasa very hard to mark because he was always a move ahead.
What is your favourite memory of playing with Falkirk?
Making my first team debut against East Stirlingshire in a local derby at Firs Park, and winning Reserve League East in 1978-9.
Do you have any funny stories from your time at Falkirk?
Travelling on the Team bus to away games, John Docherty would remove his suit trousers and sit in his boxers, he didn't want them crushed.
What are you doing now?
I finished my career playing for Camelon Juniors, winning the Scottish Junior Cup in 1995-6. I retired in 1997-8, had a short spell as Manager of Camelon Juniors, was five years as assistant manager at Oakley United. I now work as a H.G.V. driver for an insulation supplier.
